ORDER AND DELIVERY TERMS

Kaarnia Design, Laatumaalarit Peltokorpi Oy, 2688584-7 (hereinafter referred to as the online store) sells products to businesses and adult private individuals. We reserve the right to change delivery terms and prices. The prices of the products include 10% VAT when sold inside EU.

Ordering

The products to be ordered are selected from the online store by adding them to the shopping cart. The order is submitted by paying for the contents of the shopping cart through the online store's checkout function. By placing an order, you accept these delivery terms, product prices, and delivery costs. If an email address is provided at the time of ordering, an order confirmation will be sent via email. The order confirmation will include the ordered products and their prices, delivery costs, and the delivery method and pickup point you selected.

Payment

Our payment providers are Shopify Payments and Klarna, through which your payment will be processed safely, quickly, and smoothly.

A new payment services law has come into effect at the turn of the year. Starting from 1.1.2021, all online stores in the European Economic Area (EEA) must verify purchases over 30 euros with strong authentication.

Credit Card Payments

You can pay with Visa, Visa Electron, and Mastercard cards. Card payments are securely processed through a protected payment form, and credit card information is not stored in the online store's systems.

Delivery

The artwork can be picked up from my studio in Lepsämä at Huunantie 31, 01830 Lepsämä

or

The artworks can be delivered to the customer within Finland through Posti or Matkahuolto, carefully packed. Orders outside Finland will be delivered by UPS, carefully packed.

I always offer free delivery to your doorstep. However, please note that large paintings, sized 120x150 cm and above, are delivered rolled. Wooden stretchers are included with the rolled canvas; you can have the painting stretched at a local frame shop, or you can assemble and stretch it yourself. For large paintings, you can also choose home delivery in Helsinki metropolitan area, Turku, and Tampere. This delivery will be arranged separately.

The payment and delivery method will be agreed upon with the customer in advance. I reserve the right to change the prices of products and delivery costs.

When picking up the artwork from the studio, payment can be made on-site by card or cash, in whole or in part, without additional charges (payment arrangements are always agreed upon with the customer in advance).

Artworks sent via Posti, Matkahuolto or UPS will be dispatched to the customer once the customer has approved the work. I will send the invoice only after the artwork is completed and approved. I will send the artwork once the customer has paid the invoice I send. For partial payments, please contact the artist at karoliina@kaarniadesign.fi.

For orders delivered outside the EU, the customer is responsible for any customs duties and taxes.

Returns

What to do if the product is not suitable for me?

Kaarnia Design offers a satisfaction guarantee for 14 days. From the date of delivery/shipping, you must contact the artist within 14 days if you wish to return the product.

Remember These Points Before Returning:

  • The product must be in the same condition as you received it. The packaging must also be original. Keep the receipt.
  • Always contact the artist before returning the product: karoliina@kaarniadesign.fi
  • Include in your message the word "return," your name, order number, and reason for the return.
  • If the artist approves the return, we will send you a return label and instructions for returning the product. Without contact, we cannot approve the return. The customer is responsible for the costs related to the return.

For packages that are not picked up and returned to us, we will charge the shipping and return costs of the order.

What if the product is damaged in transit or I receive a wrong product?

You must check the condition of the shipment immediately upon receiving the package. Report any damages within 48 hours.

If the product is incorrect or there are issues with the shipment, you must contact the artist via email: karoliina@kaarniadesign.fi

We will assess and correct the issue.

Which products cannot be returned?

Discounted products and gift cards cannot be returned.

Custom-made products also cannot be returned. Please contact the artist if you have any questions about these products!

When will the money be refunded to my account?

The customer will receive a confirmation message when the product has been returned and inspected. If the return is approved, the money will be refunded via the original payment method. If the payment is not refunded within 14 days, please contact me: karoliina@kaarniadesign.fi

Note: For packages that are not picked up and returned to us, we will charge the shipping and return costs of the order.

Liability

Kaarnia Design is not responsible for any indirect, direct, or other damages related to the order, delivery, or product, except to the extent required by mandatory provisions of consumer protection law or other mandatory laws.

Disputes

We aim to resolve any disputes regarding your order primarily by agreement, so please contact the artist to resolve the issue.

If a dispute regarding the sales agreement cannot be resolved through negotiations between the parties, the consumer can refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board for resolution. Before bringing the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer should contact the Consumer Advisory Service.

Other

We reserve the right to change our delivery terms. The customer must familiarize themselves with the current delivery terms before placing an order.

Kaarnia Design treats all customer information with complete confidentiality.

Kaarnia Design is committed to not disclosing customer information to third parties, except by order of authorities.
